What is Saju?
Saju (사주), also called the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a Korean reading built from your birth year, month, day, and hour. Each pillar is written with Chinese characters that carry one of the five elements, and the mix of those elements describes your natural temperament.
What are the five elements (Ohaeng)?
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. In Korean this is called Ohaeng (오행). They generate each other in a cycle (Wood feeds Fire, Fire makes Earth, Earth holds Metal, Metal carries Water, Water grows Wood) and they also restrain each other, which is how a chart stays in balance.
What does my dominant element mean?
Your dominant element is your natural color — the way you start, love, decide, and rest. It is not a score or a ranking. A strong element simply shows where your energy moves most easily.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps, because the hour pillar adds one more element. If you do not know your birth time you can still get a meaningful reading from the year, month, and day.
